Call for proposals on activities for marking the International Roma Day
Warsaw, March 04, 2013 - The Best Practices for Roma Integration project is seeking ideas for activities for marking the International Roma Day on 8 April 2013 in Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Kosovo*, Montenegro and Serbia.
Activities should promote Roma culture, traditions and rights, as well as raise awareness about the International Roma Day and should be proposed by Roma associations.
The budget should be between 500 and 2,500€ per activity (salaries and consultant fees are not eligible). Please note that expenses foreseen by the selected proposal will be covered directly by the BPRI project and no funds will be transferred to the selected NGO.
Applicants should provide their contact details, short overview of past experience (max 1 page), description of proposed activity and budget breakdown. Applications should be sent to email@example.com by 14 March 2013.
* This designation is without prejudice to positions on status, and is in line with UNSCR 1244/99 and the ICJ Opinion on the Kosovo declaration of independence.
