RCM joined INACH
Regional centre for minorities joined INACH. RCM will be a national contact organization and will be responsible of running complaints mechanism for hateful content on websites hosted in Serbia and/or in Serbian language. In addition, RCM will also actively monitor and participate in the removal of the reported discriminatory content.
The object of INACH, the International Network Against Cyberhate is to combat discrimination on the Internet. INACH is a foundation under Dutch Law and is seated in Amsterdam. INACH was founded on October 4, 2002 by Jugenschutz.NET and Magenta Foundation, Complaints Bureau for Discrimination on the Internet.
INACH tries to reach its goals by (amongst other things):
• uniting organisations fighting against cyber hate
• exchanging information to enhance effectivity of such organisations
• lobbying for international legislation to combat discrimination on Internet
• support groups and institutions who want to set up a complaints bureau
• create awareness and promote attitude change about discrimination on the internet by giving information, education
• to start and maintain the website http://www.inach.net/ for the network and by
• any other means that are helpful to reach the goal.
